Why do you have two locations?

Each location offers unique advantages: Buen Hombre has perfect flat, shallow water that makes learning kitesurfing 30-50% faster and easier for beginners, while Cabarete is the kiteboarding capital with world-class conditions for progression. By combining both, we give you the best possible learning experience.

Can I take lessons at both locations?

Absolutely! We offer completely flexible lessons between both locations. Many students start their course in Buen Hombre for intensive flat water learning, then move to Cabarete to continue lessons while experiencing the vibrant kite scene. You can switch locations based on conditions or your learning goals.

Do you have accommodations at both locations?

Yes! We provide our own accommodations at both Buen Hombre and Cabarete. You can stay at one location or split your time between both. Many guests start with peaceful Buen Hombre for focused learning, then move to Cabarete for the social scene.

Which location should I start at as a beginner?

We strongly recommend beginners start in Buen Hombre. The flat, shallow water conditions make learning dramatically faster and less frustrating. Once you've mastered the basics (usually 2-4 days), you can move to Cabarete to progress in more varied conditions.

Do other kite schools offer two locations?

No! We're the ONLY kite school in the area with two premium locations. Every other Cabarete school is limited to teaching in one spot. This unique flexibility is what sets us apart and why our students progress faster.

What an amazing announcement, before celebrating the 10 years of Kite Buen Hombre school in Playa Buen Hombre, to be able to grant a Ventum Kiteboarding sponsorship to Angel David Bonilla.

Angel David is from Cabarete, he is a young dedicated man full of desierto practice and compete. In Dr Open even he finished in podium in all the categories that he participated. Wishing him lots of strength and luck!
